RESOLUTION
In Support of MyTown.MyJob.MyVoice
WHEREAS, MyTown.MyJob,MyVoice is a grassroots effort intended to unite individuals, businesses and organizations negatively affected by the current regulatory and public policy pressures on the oil and gas and related manufacturing industries; and
WHEREAS, the empowerment of pro-business groups and individuals is a critical requirement to shape legislation and regulations that promote strong business in the United States; and
WHEREAS, MyTown.MyJob.MyVoice supports businesses that provide tremendous economic benefit to Texas by providing jobs and taxes, and whose diverse products benefit the entire nation; and
WHEREAS, MyTown.MyJob.MyVoice supports businesses that run clean, safe operations and are some of the safest places to work in the country; and
WHEREAS, the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County strongly supports the ideals and principals of the MyTown.MyJob.MyVoice effort and is a member of the MyTown.MyJob.MyVoice networt,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County that we do hereby commend and support the MyTown.MyJob.MyVoice effort and encourage the people of East Montgomery County and surrounding areas to join the Chamber's effort to support the oil and gas and related manufacturing industries.
ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 2011, by the Board of Directors of the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County as evidenced by the signatures of its Chairman and President.
