Dear East Montgomery County Business Owner/Manager:
On behalf of the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County I would like to invite you to learn more about our Chamber and the services we provide. For the last twenty years the Chamber has been serving businesses, non-profits and others in EMC by partnering with our members to “promote the economic well being and quality of life of East Montgomery County”. Over the last couple of years we have seen many ups and downs in the economy and it has affected many local businesses, yet the Chamber remains a vital link for area businesses as they market their products and services. During this down turn in the economy we have actually seen our Chamber grow and become stronger with membership increasing and member involvement at an all time high.
Please allow me to share just a few of the reasons you should be a part of this business community.
- Our current membership is at 455, up from 143 just seven and a half years ago.
- Our current business membership dues are just $250 per year.
- New committees allow members to become more involved in their community and the Chamber.
- The EMC Community Planning Summit produced a plan for the future that the Chamber is following in our goal setting and program of work.
- EMC is primed for growth with outstanding schools, churches, medical facilities and quality of life services.
- EMC is an attractive area for economic growth as evidenced by projects including Earth Quest, the minor league baseball park, Valley Ranch and Valley Ranch Town Center, Oakhurst at Kingwood and the development along Hwy 59 at Northpark Drive.
All in all East Montgomery County and the Chamber are poised to meet the demands of the future and we would love for you to be a part of our success. Please browse our website www.communitychamberemc.com, give us a call, or stop by our office in the East Montgomery County Improvement District complex for a visit. We would love to work with you as we all make East Montgomery County the best place in the greater Houston area to live, work and play.
Very truly yours,
Andy Dill
President
